Rev. Dn. Gheevarghese John, was ordained to the rank of Mshamshono on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at at St. Thomas Orthodox Church of Philadelphia (Mascher Street). The ordination services were be led by Their Graces, Mathews Mar Barnabas, Diocesan Metropolitan, and Zachariah Mar Nicholovos,

Assistant Metropolitan, assisted by priests, deacons and seminarians of the American Dioceses. Dn. Gheevarghese John, graduate of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, currently serves as the General Secretary of the MGOCSM of North America and ministers to the needs of FOCUS, MGOCSM and Campus Ministry of the Philadelphia area.
